SurfEars 4.0 can be worn with or without the wings. The wingless option is great when used under a winter hood or swim cap.  It also works magic with smaller ears or for anyone who prefers a slimmer product in their ears.

Great…if I only had one ear.

I brought my first set of Surf Ears as they were recommended by a couple of people I know, and by an Ear Health Clinic. Their cost probably totals more that all the other Ear Plugs I’ve ever brought…..

The performance of the Surf Ears is at best, adequate in one ear (left). They’re very noisy to wear, and fitting them isn’t straightforward as I’d hoped. Despite the three sizes of silicone heads, I’ve not found a comfortable and stable fitting for my right ear. I’ve Pool Swum 4 times using the Surf Ears, and on two occasions the right plug has loosened, leaked, then fallen out completely, resulting in a frantic search of the bottom of the pool (because I prefer not to use the supplied neck band), interrupting my training.

I would find it hard to recommend this product.

We are sorry you are having isssues! Thank you for your feedback. Ask your partner or close friend to look into your ear and gauge the size of your external ear canals– you need a sealing gel the same size. It is not uncommon for men to need a small but it is rare that the large is not large enough. The plug should feel comfortable and stay in place when you gently tug on the string. You may also need a different size for each ear. The sizes range from XS, S, M and through to L sizes and we recommend wearing the leash provided to prevent losing them.
